Never Give Up Hope On Being a Part of God's Plan.

Can you imagine how tired the people were during biblical times? They walked everywhere. It was hot and dusty and their shoes, well, I am sure there wasn't much to them. The servants were required to wash the feet of their masters....I feel uncomfortable asking someone to wash my toilets....yet, we see in the Bible people who didn't need to surrender to service and wash the feet of others. Even Jesus!

Imagine for a moment if we actually and literally walked in Jesus' shoes. Strap on a pair of sandals and get your business done for a while.....I challenge you. With each aching back (if you have high arches you know what I am talking about), blisters, dirty feet, freezing feet, feeling shorter than normal (especially those of you accustomed to wearing heels).

Now, remove the literal and replace with the figurative....how can each one of us be more like Jesus? How can we walk like Jesus did? How can we serve others more? How can we overcome the "I go to church on Sunday so I am good" mode and into the "how can I serve every day, every minute" mode?

Sandalfeet, to me, is a reminder that I must be no greater than Jesus. If sandals were good enough for him, they are more than enough for me. I do not need a greater portion than He.

I pray that you will begin to experience an awakening of the Spirit within you to take in the world around you. Surrender. Humble yourselves. God is your guide.

Who is the person
behind Sandalfeet?
